Board of Directors
Chairman of the board, Global CFO Steen Blaakfalk is 56 years old and specialised within business development with a special focus on legal, compliance- and risk management and finance. Steen Blaafalk has been a member of the management of Saxo Bank A/S since April 2014. Before he joined Saxo Bank, Blaafalk was employed at Danske Bank A/S for 33 years, latest as Head of Group Treasury, as well as member of the Excecutive Committee at Danske Bank. Steen Blaafalk has a great insight into business relationship and regulation. Blaafalk holds a Master of Science (Economics) and a MBA from SIMI. He has many other positions of trust, amongst others as member of the board at Adept Water Technology, a company specialised in purification of water and electrolysis.
Boardmember, Senior Partner Michael Shalmi is 50 years old and has a M.D. as well as an executive MBA from Scandinavian International Management Institute (SIMI). He has a long career at Novo Nordisk on his resume, were he has held various international executive positions within research, development, marketing and management. He has more recently participated in the management of Novo Growth Equity and Novo Large Investments – the latter undertakes investments in larger, well-established life science companies worth billions of DKK. In addition, Michael Shalmi has as an investor a thorough knowledge of investments in solar and wind turbine projects.
Boardmember, CFO Annemette Heller is 60 years old and has a Bachelor in Commerce. She has a long managerial career behind her from e.g. the Danish law firm Stakemann, where she held various positions in the financial department. For several years, she was responsible for the establishment of partnerships as well as private limited companies. She has been on the board of directors since the establishment in 2005. On a daily basis, Annemette Heller is responsible for Momentum Gruppen A/S’s financial matters and staff.
Boardmember, CEO Kim Madsen is 54 years old (founder and 100 % owner of Momentum Gruppen A/S) and holds a Graduate Diploma in Commerce as well as various relevant legal diplomas. He is an educated accountant with 5 years employment at Revisor Centret (currently Ernst & Young) together with 17 years at the Danish law firm Stakemann where he functioned as CEO the last 7 years. Additionally, he advises on establishment of companies and trading with companies. He is specialized within procurement of solar and wind turbine projects, which has been his primary focus since 2000.
